ThreatStream wins the Cutting Edge award
ThreatStream announced at RSA Conference 2015 that Cyber Defense Magazine has named them winner of the Cutting Edge award in the Enterprise Security Solutions category.
The magazine selected ThreatStream and its Optic platform as a winner after many months of review and judging by leading independent information security experts.
“We’re thrilled to recognize next-generation innovation in the information security marketplace and that’s why ThreatStream has earned this award from Cyber Defense Magazine. Some of the best INFOSEC defenses come from these kinds of forward-thinking players who think outside of the box,” said Pierluigi Paganini, editor-in-chief, Cyber Defense Magazine.
The ThreatStream Optic platform is designed to improve the way in which enterprises and government agencies consume, use and share threat intelligence. In little more than a year since its introduction, more than 1,900 security analysts and 750 organizations are using the ThreatStream platform to track more than five-million threat indicators.
ThreatStream automates the arduous task of feeding threat information into an organization’s existing security infrastructure, organizes and optimizes work-flows by enabling community collaboration and analysis across industries, and gives customers complete control of who they share data with, how much they share and the circumstances under which they share.
“Our approach to enhancing information security is cutting edge, so we’re very pleased with this award and what it stands for,” said Hugh Njemanze, ThreatStream CEO. “More importantly, we’re enabling our customers to be on the cutting edge of cyber protection by providing and managing relevant threat intelligence that they can take action on quickly. From the integrations we have with so many critical security controls, to our community creation, collaboration and analysis capabilities and threat feed app store, ThreatStream Optic allows our customers to operationalize threat intelligence easily, quickly, and effectively.”
