Sogeti social engineering challenge at HITB Haxpo
For the third year in a row Sogeti organizes the social engineering challenge during Hack In The Box Amsterdam.
In 2012 and 2013 they asked contestants to show weaknesses in the top 100 Dutch organizations. This year, the challenge has a twist!
Participants will need to use their creativity and a hacker-mindset to solve many different social engineering challenges in and around the Haxpo. The contestant most capable of “thinking on their feet” and applying their social engineering techniques is bound to win.
This year’s theme is “girls vs. boys”. Along with the Hack in the Box organization we are curious, which sex is the best at social engineering?
Register if you want to:
- Try out the single most effective hacking technique yourself
- Prove to yourself and the world you’re a good social engineer
- Interact with interesting people at and around the Haxpo
- Have some fun
- Win free stuff.
Anyone can register for free. There’s a maximum of 50 contestants per day so make sure to fill out your registration.
