Panda Security launches new antivirus solutions

Panda Security launched Panda Antivirus Pro 2013, Panda Internet Security 2013 and Panda Global Protection 2013.

All of the 2013 products deliver real-time protection against known and unknown threats by harnessing the knowledge and experience of millions of users through Panda’s unique cloud-based Collective Intelligence technology.

Panda Security has added Scan Manager to its 2013 product line, a key new feature that scans faster and more effectively, only working when necessary. This results in up to 70 percent faster scans, leveraging computing resources for maximum productivity.

The new solutions include a more modern, intuitive interface than ever before, and are compatible with Windows 8. They also include a series of technological improvements: better disinfection capabilities, improved on-access scanning, a new operation system vulnerability disinfection system, a new built-in system to submit questions to technical support and a new password manager that protects users’ digital identity and allows them to store their credentials securely.

Additionally, it can encrypt and password-protect private files and folders to prevent the theft of personal, banking and financial data or valuable multimedia content.
