Span Cyber Security Arena 2025

May 19-21, 2025
Hotel Ambasador, Opatija, Croatia

The upcoming conference takes a closer look at the relationship between human behavior and technology in the field of cyber security. It raises important questions: Are the challenges of this interaction being resolved, or are professionals simply adapting to an ongoing dynamic? Where does the influence of human behavior end, and where does technological control begin?

Across more than 30 hours of scheduled sessions, the program will address key themes such as behavioral trends, strategies for building a culture of cyber awareness, and the effectiveness of educational initiatives. Regulatory topics will include the evolving EU framework—specifically the DORA and NIS2 Directive—as well as Croatia’s newly enacted Law on Cyber Security, highlighting how compliance requirements are shifting for both public institutions and private organizations.

Technical discussions will cover areas like cyber security architecture, cloud-based solutions, the growing role of artificial intelligence, and other pressing challenges within the industry.

The conference is relevant for both compliance and technical professionals, whether working in managerial or specialist roles. Participants can engage in a range of formats, including keynote lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and presentations led by over 40 experts from Croatia and internationally. Networking opportunities, both structured and informal, will also be available throughout the three-day event.

By focusing on the often unpredictable human element, the conference aims to foster deeper understanding of one of cyber security’s most persistent and complex dimensions.
