Deep Freeze Mac 5.0 released
Faronics released the newest version of its system-restore software, Deep Freeze Mac 5.0, to coincide with the launch of Mac OS X Lion.
Deep Freeze Mac removes any unauthorized system changes and returns the computer to its original state. It also eliminates the need for IT professionals to perform rebuilds, re-image, or troubleshoot computers—reducing support incidents up to a documented 63 percent.
IT administrators are able to map user accounts individually or by user type to an unprotected partition or a ThawSpace to retain user documents, pictures, movies, bookmarks and other data between protected sessions.
The newest version of Deep Freeze Mac has evolved from a decade of innovation and commitment to customer-focused products, and protects a workstation’s operating system and software without restricting user access.
Deep Freeze Mac also offers a wide range of enterprise capabilities via its seamless integration with Apple Remote Desktop.
