Speaker line-up for B-Sides Las Vegas 2011
Security B-Sides announced the event details and speaker lineup for B-Sides Las Vegas 2011, being held August 3-4, 2011 at The Artisan Hotel Boutique from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. PT.
This year’s B-Sides Las Vegas event will include three tracks, 42 talks and over 50 presenters. Newly added this year are full-day infosec training sessions that will be free to all B-Sides attendees.
Some of the most widely anticipated talks at B-Sides Las Vegas include:

“Cyber Fast Track” by Mudge
“Thoughts on LulzSec through the historical lens of Russian Nihilism and Motiveless Terrorism” by Moxie Marlinspike
“Better to Burn Out than to Fade Away?” by Jack Daniel
“Info Sec Institute: What College Never Will Teach You” by Rick Deacon
“How Government Accountability Conflicts With Citizen Privacy (and Why It’s Your Fault)” by Wendy Nather
“Are There Still Wolves Among Us?” by Val Smith
“Wireless’ dirty sisters – The other RF (wireless) you aren’t looking at and why you are going to get f*#@*d!” by Brad Bowers
The newly added full-day infosec training courses will be hosted concurrently during the event and are on a first come, first serve basis. Courses on “Networking for Penetration Testers” and “Mobile App Security Code Reviews” are currently open. More classes may be added in the coming weeks.
