Holiday spam e-mail runs start off
Spammers peddling fake pills, replica watches, jewelry and bags are gearing up for the approaching holidays.
According to Trend Micro researchers, using the upcoming Black Friday and Christmas sales as an excuse they have rushed to offer their wares to the ever-increasing number of holiday shoppers that do their shopping online:
Rest assured that you will be receiving more similar emails as the end of the year approaches, so it is best to teach yourself now not to follow links offered in them.
If you choose not to follow this piece of advice, the best possible scenario that can happen to you is that you lose some money and get a drug that doesn’t work but doesn’t harm, either. In the worst one you may lose your credit card (and the money on it), get your computer infected or even compromise your health.
