Most innovative company at RSA Conference 2010
Altor Networks, with its product Altor VF 3.0, has been announced as the winner of RSA’s Innovation Sandbox “Most Innovative Company at RSA Conference 2010” contest.
According to the post on the Conference’s official blog, Altor was chosen as the most innovative company among the ten finalists that competed for the title.
All the companies have pitched their product and business plan to a judging panel that included Michael Barrett of PayPal, Asheem Chandna of Greylock Partners, Gerhard Eschelbeck of Webroot Software, Renee Guttmann of Time Warner, Ray Rothrock of Venrock, and Hugh Thompson, Program Committee Chair for RSA Conference.
Innovation Sandbox is a unique platform for emerging companies, on which they can to display their new products and/or services that address the current and emerging threats plaguing information security professionals.
The winning product, Altor VF v3.0, is an VMsafe virtual firewall with integrated intrusion detection, aimed at protecting virtualized environments.
