Google Dashboard: What does Google know about you?

You’ve been using Gmail for ages. Every location you needed to find, every trip you organized – Google Maps was there for you. Most searches you ever started online began at Google.com. You watch most videos at YouTube.

Aren’t you a little bit curious about what information Google collected about you?

Well, you can stop wondering and check out the new Google Dashboard, a privacy tool that will give you an overview of the things Google learned about you through your use of its products.

Your name and e-mail address, where you live, your contacts, the documents you worked on and shared, your e-mail correspondence and people you talked with through Gmail, the tasks you wrote down – they are all there.

The Dashboard includes data gathered only from Google services that you access with your Google account (Account & Profile, Alerts, Blogger, Calendar, Contacts, Custom search engines, Docs, Finance, Friend Connect, Gmail, Health, iGoogle, Latitude, Mobile Sync, Orkut, Picasa, Reader, Shopping List, Talk, Tasks, Voice, Web-history, YouTube).
