Largest security conference and hands-on training in India

Securitybyte and OWASP India are hosting India’s largest information security event in New Delhi at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Nov 17th – Nov 20th 2009. The conference has three main tracks focused on security professionals, developers and leaders in the security space.

Attendees of the Securitybyte & OWASP AppSec Asia Conference 2009 will have the opportunity to take part in three different types of war games. These scenarios based games include not only include attacking web applications and networks, but also show how real-world cyber attacks take place.

A total of 30 world-renowned speakers will deliver talks and trainings to techies and leaders likewise. There are 18 international speakers coming in from USA, New Zealand, Sweden, Germany, UK, Canada, Thailand and Taiwan to talk on subjects like the international state of cyber security, database forensics, honeypots and critical infrastructure security.

The highlight of the event is India’s first Information security focused “India Technology Leadership Summit 2009” with a panel discussion on “Security concerns for off-shoring” between industry leaders representing outsourcers, service providers and regulators. The panel is being moderated by Howard Schmidt, the conference keynote speaker.

This event also marks an entry of international information security training leaders SANS and ISC2 who are conducting two days of hands of trainings by their instructors from the USA. The event is also hosting many advanced trainings like forensics techniques, building advanced network security tools, web hacking, assessment techniques, etc.
