Array Networks launches version 8.0 SSL VPN software
Array Networks announced the availability of its new Version 8.0 SSL VPN software. Version 8.0 dramatically simplifies configuration, deployment, and management for IT personnel, and enables companies to easily customize end-user portals based on customer preference.
Array’s Version 8.0 also includes a number of other important features in addition to the new WebUI and Portal Themes. It incorporates new Hardware Security Modules, making the SPX3000 and 5000 systems fully compliant with FIPS 140-2 at Level 2. Version 8.0 also supports AES encryption (both 128-bit and 256-bit), enhancements in Network Admission Control, authentication, layer 3 VPN connectivity options, and expanded language options.
“Version 8.0 incorporates features that were requested by enterprise and large institutional customers,”said Jim Greenway, vice president of marketing for Array Networks. “We received excellent feedback from our Beta customers. The WebUI dramatically simplified system management, while our Portal Themes allowed them to build custom portals that provide easier navigation and better graphical look and feel than is possible with any other SSL VPN product.”
