Kerio MailServer – first secure groupware server on Mac OS X to support Entourage 2004 SP 2
Kerio Technologies UK has introduced the latest version of Kerio MailServer. This allows Mac users to unlock the new groupware features found in Microsoft’s Entourage 2004 Service Pack 2 (SP2) and more effectively collaborate with their colleagues using Outlook on a PC. Entourage 2004 SP2 adds better support for multiple calendars, Global Address List (GAL) and folder delegation.
Kerio MailServer acts as a secure email and groupware server, supporting Outlook and Entourage as its email and groupware clients. Designed primarily for small and medium sized businesses, this popular cross platform email management system has a strong following amongst Mac resellers and users, including design agencies and schools.
“Entourage 2004 SP 2 is now closer in functionality to Outlook, its Windows counterpart, and our latest update to Kerio MailServer helps Mac users discover previously inaccessible areas of email collaboration,” explains Joe Weisz, Channel Manager at Kerio Technologies UK. He adds, “Now Entourage users can view and share calendars in their workgroup without having to open a second application like iCal or our WebMail client.”
Jigsaw24, a leading Mac reseller, has promoted Kerio MailServer for some time and seen an increased interest in a Mac-based messaging. According to Sammy Aindow, Technical Manager, ” Kerio MailServer is the only real choice for Mac users, because of its ease of use, low cost and enterprise feature set.”
