Kaspersky Lab Releases Kaspersky Anti-Hacker 1.8
Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions that protect against viruses, spam, spyware, Trojans and hacker attacks, announces the release of the latest version of its popular personal firewall, Kaspersky(r) Anti-Hacker 1.8. New in version 1.8 is an upgraded interface to facilitate improved licence key management.
Kaspersky Anti-Hacker provides full scale protection for computers running under the Windows operating system against unsanctioned access to data, and hacker attacks conducted via local networks and the Internet. One of the main changes to Kaspersky Anti-Hacker 1.8 is the upgraded interface, which now incorporates key management via the main program window. Links which make it possible for users to obtain a full license key online to replace, for instance, a trial key, have also been added.
This latest version retains all of the features of version 1.7, including an ergonomic interface, appropriate even for less experienced users; easy-to-use functions ranging from simple initial configuration to protection management (displayed through a five-level security scale); and a stealth mode, which allows the user to block external attempts to connect to the computer and to surf the Internet unseen.
Additionally, the solution ensures the integrity of data stored on the computer by monitoring all network operations launched on the computer (e.g. application activities which include accessing the Internet, filtering incoming and outgoing packets, etc.).
