InfoSeCon 2005 Supported by ENISA
International information assurance event, InfoSeCon 2005, organized by British professional magazine Information Security Bulletin and Croatian company ZIK, which will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia in June this year, has already received a great affirmation of European professional circles – direct and official support of European Network and Information Security Agency, ENISA.
Its direct support ENISA will also confirm by participation of Mr. Andrea Pirotti, ENISA’s CEO, as one of the keynote speakers at the conference. ENISA will also participate in conference’s round table by East European governments’ representatives on the subject “What do Nations expect from Information Assurance?”, moderated by Tom Patterson and Niels J. Bjergstrom.
Besides round tables and presentations, conference will also consist technical and management workshops related to various information security issues, such as “White Hat Hacking 101” and “Advanced Pen Testing” by Peter Wood, “Communication Satellite Security” by Howard Fuhs, “Creating Return on Security Investment” by John Sherwood, “Designing a Staff Security Awareness Programme” by Martin Smith, and others.

InfoSeCon master classes and conference presentations, as well as round table discussions and plenum sessions are established to promote culture of network and information security throughout society by sharing common goals, tactical ideas, strategies and current trends. These will be given by more than 25 world class lecturers and experts and represent cutting edge knowledge and techniques in dealing with information security problems and issues at both national and international levels, as well as in business environments. InfoSeCon will be held in five-star Hotel Croatia in Cavtat by Dubrovnik, from June 6th – 10th 2005.
