MDI Announces Several Key Promotions in the Sales Organization and Hires New Director of Corporate Marketing

(NASDAQ: MDII), a recognized leader in delivering open, integrated security management and video security solutions, today announced the promotion of Wayne Oliver from Regional Sales Manager to National Sales Manager for the commercial systems group, Guy Alderton from Regional Sales Manager to Director of Business Development, Bob Mounter from Regional Sales Engineer to Security Solutions Director and the recent hire of Chris Rallo as Director of Corporate Marketing.
Oliver will be responsible for recruiting manufacturer representatives for MDI’s proprietary product offerings which include iTRUSTâ„?, a small business security and system management software application, ViewPointâ„?, advanced video security solution and nTEGRITYâ„?, MDI’s latest addition of access control readers and accessories. The company’s iTRUST solution recently received the 2005 Integrated Physical Security Product of the Year from Network Defense and Product News.
Alderton in his position as Business Development will be responsible for developing both OEM partner relationships and national/regional reseller and distribution relationships. Mounter will be responsible for assisting security dealers in developing comprehensive security management solutions and meet with existing MDI customers to further provide and deliver high-value solutions. These industry veterans further accelerate the company’s momentum in the security market and enhance MDI’s overall market presence as a solutions provider.
MDI recently hired Chris Rallo as the Director of Corporate Marketing and he will play a critical role in developing and executing the company’s marketing campaigns, channel programs and market builder program. This effort will help MDI security dealers to create product demand, develop effective marketing strategies and structure their organizations for greater success. Rallo will also be responsible for trade shows, lead generation, web services and collateral support. Rallo received a B.S. degree in Business from Goucher College in Maryland and previously served roles as both a marketing director and marketing manager for SecureInfo Corporation, GeoTrust and Billserv.
