SSH Adopts Data Protection Technology From Cryptico
HELSINKI, FINLAND; Copenhagen, Denmark and Los Altos, Calif. – September 28, 2004 – SSH Communications Security (HEX:SSH1V), a world-leading developer of managed security middleware, today announced that it has entered into an OEM licensing agreement with Cryptico A/S, a leading provider of high-speed data protection technologies. The agreement enables SSH to incorporate CryptiCore encryption and data authentication software into the SSH Tectia(TM) solution.
SSH Tectia is an enterprise class suite of security solutions based on SSH’s industry leading technologies, including the award-winning SSH Secure Shell used by millions of enterprise users worldwide. SSH intends to implement CryptiCore in its future releases of the SSH Tectia client/server solution to assist in creating the next generation network security solutions.
