This new version allows mobile users to make use of the standby mode option on their laptops, without compromising the security of the data stored on them – therefore getting secure hibernation support. It also now extends its hard disk encryption functionality to include removable media, enabling users to encrypt the data stored on USB sticks and memory cards, thus removing the security concerns normally associated with the transporting of sensitive data on laptop accessories.
