Vigilar Adds Legra Systems’ Switching Suite to its Best-Of-Breed Wireless LAN Solutions
ATLANTA, March 22, 2004 – Vigilar, Inc. today announced a partnership with secure wireless LAN solution provider Legra Systems that will deliver Vigilar’s enterprise customers a wireless solution that provides centralized security and management capabilities and is most like a wired LAN.
Vigilar, an information security solutions provider dedicated to the delivery of privacy and risk management solutions, will incorporate Legra’s Wireless LAN Switching Solution into the best-of-breed WLANs it designs for companies in the finance, healthcare, and retail industries. The Legra Wireless LAN Switching Solution is comprised of the LS2012 WLAN switch, LR Radio access points and LM6000 Network Manager. The solution features layers of built-in security, including wire-speed encryption, and was the first wireless LAN switch to be Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
