Leading Lottery And Gaming Developer Embeds Diversinet’s Secure Mobile Solutions Into its Applications
TORONTO, Canada, November 18, 2003 – Diversinet Corp. (OTCBB: DVNTF), a leading provider of secured mobile solutions, today announced that Spiral Solutions, Ltd. has signed an OEM and marketing agreement to take advantage of Diversinet’s expertise in mobile security by integrating said security solutions into Spiral’s proprietary mobile-based gaming and entertainment solutions, including lottery and gaming applications.
Under the agreement, Diversinet will work closely with Spiral on the development and marketing of Spiral’s applications and the integration of the security needed to deploy them. Spiral has agreed to pay to Diversinet a one-time license fee for the right to use and integrate Diversinet’s security solutions with, and into, its applications. In addition to this one-time licensing fee from Spiral, Diversinet will receive recurring royalty payments on all transactions from applications using Diversinet’s product suite.
Trusted transactions are integral to consumer acceptance of mobile-gaming transactions, and with Diversinet’s Passport suite of secured mobile solutions both the management of the user’s ID and devices involved are enhanced.
