IS3 Inc. And Mosaic Software Announce Product Development Alliance

New Orleans, La. — November 18, 2003 — iS3 Inc. (i-s-cubed), a provider of secure key management solutions for network connected devices, today announced an alliance with Mosaic Software, the global transaction processing software provider. The announcement was made at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference & Expo, being held this week in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Under the terms of the agreement, iS3 and Mosaic will develop a common interface that will allow users of the Mosaic Postilion platform to interface directly to the iS3 Secure OMSTM product, a fortified, scalable secure key management system. As a result of this alliance, Secure OMS will be marketed and sold as an integrated offering on the Mosaic Postilion platform.

Postilion is a powerful, flexible product family that delivers ATM processing and monitoring, retail POS processing, electronic funds transfer (EFT) switching and routing, pre-payments, WAP and Internet payments and banking, mobile commerce, and call center transaction processing. Postilion can drive consumer-generated transactions at every point of an EFT network

Mosaic’s alliance with iS3 will enhance the Postilion platform with the inclusion of advanced key management and remote key download capabilities, and the addition of the highest possible levels of user security and user administration for key management. This will also allow Postilion to take advantage of all of the capabilities of the newest machines from Diebold and NCR.

“At Mosaic, we understand that the rapid growth of ecommerce, increases in credit card spending, and burgeoning customer demand for new transaction channels are driving businesses to deploy or upgrade their EFT capabilities, and that this requires improved security solutions,” said Johann Dreyer, CEO, Mosaic Software. We are confident that our existing and new Postilion customers will be very interested in these innovative advanced key management capabilities from iS3, and that this co-development of a common interface for Secure OMS will further position Mosaic as the leader in the host processing marketplace in advanced key management functionality.”

“In this era of expanding volumes of distributed financial transactions and payment devices, the most successful security management companies will be the ones that can capitalize on unique technologies and strategic partnerships,” commented Joerg Ferchau, president and CEO of iS3. “Our unique key management approach to security, along with our significant partnerships with leading companies like Mosaic, will help to establish Secure OMS as the industry-standard solution that will greatly advance security management for payment devices such as ATMs and POS terminals.”
