Citadel Security Software Announces Launch of Authorized Technology Partner and Channel Partner Programs
Programs designed to broaden availability of Citadel software and enhance partner product features.
Dallas, Texas, June 7, 2002 – Citadel Security Software Inc. (OTCBB: CDSS), announced today the launching of their Authorized Technology Partner and Channel Partner Programs. These comprehensive programs allow qualified system integrators, resellers and technology developers the opportunity to offer Citadel’s security products and/or integrate their technology with Citadel applications.
The Technology Partner Program allows other security application developers and service providers the opportunity to integrate their systems with Citadel’s automated vulnerability remediation system Hercules. As partners join the program they will have access to Hercules development resources needed to help establish product integration. Qualified partners will offer applications or services which compliment Citadel’s products and add beneficial functionality for end users.
The Channel Partner Program offers select integrators with the chance to offer Hercules and other Citadel Security Software products to their customers. Partners joining the program will receive product discounts, marketing support opportunities, comprehensive product training, cooperative lead generation programs and more. Qualified partners must have extensive experience offering security solutions.
“We’ve had tremendous interest from a wide range of organizations and individuals who would like to either integrate their products with Hercules or even re-license it to their end-user customers.” said Steven B. Solomon, Chief Executive Officer of Citadel Security Software. “The interest in Hercules since its introduction earlier this year has been strong. These programs allow us, along with select partners in the security solutions industry, to take advantage of these market opportunities and deliver even more features for our customers and our partner’s customers.”
Security solutions from Citadel include Hercules, which reduces security risks by automating the time-consuming process of vulnerability remediation saving organizations time and money. The product, considered unique within the security software market, has received praise for its ability to quickly execute vulnerability remediation which formerly took days or even months to complete manually. Other products from Citadel Security Software include Secure PC which allows administrators to enforce security policies across the network to prevent intentional or unintentional security breaches and NetOFF which logs off unattended machines from the network to close open portals to sensitive network information.
