Sygate Secure Enterprise 2.2 Released
Provider of Security Policy Management Expands Enforcement Platform to Third Party Products and Wireless Access
Fremont, CALIF. – December 4, 2001 – Sygate Technologies today announced the release of Sygate Secure Enterprise (SSE) 2.2. With this new version, Sygate extends its security protection with new Host Integrityâ„? and Wireless Enforcerâ„? features. Security administrators can now use Sygate’s trusted solution to enforce required protection and security settings across previously unchecked elements of the network.

Sygate’s new Host Integrityâ„? feature offers policy enforcement of third party point solutions. SSE 2.2 employs Host Integrity to enforce anti-virus protection, the first of a series of products to be managed by Sygate’s enterprise solution. Sygate Wireless Enforcerâ„? is an important extension of Sygate protection as the inclusion of wireless devices in the business community becomes more prevalent. The Wireless Enforcer blocks wireless access to corporate networks if the security agent engine is not active, is absent, is not current or has been tampered with.
