CyberSecurity Firm Launches Security Intelligence Product
SecureInfo Corporation delivers a web-based security intelligence service, focusing on Information Systems Security and the protection of critical corporate data. Powered by over 300 years of combined security industry experience, TESS stands alone in the groundbreaking Security Intelligence for Business Continuity (SI4BC) category of security products.
To further strengthen it’s leadership position in the SI4BC category and remain true to it’s industry trademark “The One Stop Security Shop”, SecureInfo Corporation has created a suite of applications that empower Information Technology Professionals to proactively create and take charge of their organization’s network security policy and certification process.
“Until now, only those organizations with vast financial resources and security knowledge could afford to proactively research, analyze and validate malicious threats,” said Keith Frederick, President and CEO of SecureInfo Corporation. “An advanced “early warning system’ that enables administrators to take action is essential to business continuity. Our Web-Based Network Intelligence Service, TESS, has leveled the playing field by providing the capabilities an organization needs to effectively and efficiently manage their network security.”
Information Technology Departments can subscribe to TESS on an annual basis and thereby access global incident alerts, “virtual” security analysts, a network vulnerability research center and vulnerability/virus assessment laboratory.
TESS also offers security training, industry intelligence, white papers, security product evaluations, employment screenings, a database of qualified security professionals searching for employment, cyber-law and legal analysis at the state and federal level, federal regulatory guidance and a security bookstore complete with expert reviews of every title.
“TESS is here today because we recognize that security officers and administrators are in short supply and always overworked,” said Dale “Chip” Dahlstrom, Executive Vice President at SecureInfo Corporation. “The entire world of security information is brought to the Subscriber’s desktop and accessed with the click of a mouse. It’s essentially a question of what you want your network administrator doing today…researching problems or fixing them.”
One of the primary components of TESS is the security documentation tool known as the Security Analyst Workbench (SAW). SAW walks Subscribers, like Banks and Hospitals through the development of plans, policies and other documentation required for the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of their networks. This blueprint aids in compliance with both HIPAA and Gramm-Leach-Bliley. The C& A process is a cost cutting measure educating customers on how much and where security is needed, so they do not over spend.
On April 15, 2001, an early release version of TESS, “The One Stop Security Shop”?¤, will be available. For those that subscribe early, their first license period last for 15 months and with renewal 12 months there after. Full version release is slated for July 1, 2001.
