Learning Tree Releases A New Hands-On IT Security Course: Deploying Intrusion Detection Systems
RESTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 24, 2001–Learning Tree International, Inc. (NASDAQ NM: LTRE) today is announcing the release of a new Hands-On IT course, Deploying Intrusion Detection Systems, where participants learn to design, configure and deploy an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for their network.
During this four-day course, attendees will gain extensive hands-on experience including:
1. Detecting and responding to network and host-based attacks
2. Integrating an intrusion detection system
3. Identifying methods hackers use to break into systems
4. Analyzing network traffic
5. Creating an effective response strategy.
