Confluera expands XDR capabilities with VMware Carbon Black
Confluera announced interoperability with VMware Carbon Black that will further expand Confluera XDR’s security ecosystem coverage to include VMware Carbon Black Cloud Workload Protection. Together, the industry-leading solutions will be able to deliver faster incident analysis and holistic threat detection that are much needed in the industry.
“For security and IT teams, now is the time to refocus defenses as the threat landscape evolves and attacks become more frequent and increasingly sophisticated,” said Tom Corn, SVP, Security Business Unit, VMware.
“Leveraging the VMware Carbon Black Cloud, Confluera can help customers trace attackers in real-time and analyze detections and alerts across endpoints and workloads for next-generation incident analysis and remediation.”
Confluera is the leading provider of the emerging XDR market, helping SOC teams detect threats faster and simplifying complex SOC operations. Confluera XDR automates detection and response of cloud and data center infrastructure breaches by sequencing attack steps along the kill chain, automatically identifying and preventing multi-stage attacks.
With Confluera, security teams can instantly detect and prioritize attack activities, remediate compromised assets and perform strategic threat hunting – all in real-time.
“Confluera’s unique strength is its ability to piece together signals from various nodes that appear benign without additional context but are in fact part of a bigger attack narrative,” said Abhijit Ghosh, CEO and cofounder of Confluera.
“Confluera together with the VMware Carbon Black Cloud will enable our mutual customers to better expand their security response to cover both clearly identified malicious detections as well as attacks consisting of several weak signals spanning long periods of time.”
