Arcserve hires Christian van den Branden as CTO
Arcserve announced the appointment of Christian van den Branden as Chief Technology Officer for Arcserve.
Reporting to Arcserve CEO Brannon Lacey, van den Branden will be responsible for leading the global research and development group and advancing Arcserve’s technology innovation, as well as driving the strategic direction of the product roadmap.

Leveraging his strong experience in mission-critical and storage technologies, Christian will be instrumental in ensuring we continue delivering best-in-class solutions to help our partners and customers worldwide maintain business continuity,” said Brannon Lacey, CEO of Arcserve.
With over 20 years of engineering leadership experience, van den Branden has a successful history of driving strategic planning, running operations, and advancing strategic initiatives across functions and geographically dispersed organizations. He has comprehensive expertise in storage technologies, DevOps, DevSecOps, SaaS, and cloud-native application development. Most recently, van den Branden served as Chief Technology Officer at Qualifacts, a healthcare technology company where he ran the software development organization and the hosting and infrastructure teams.
Prior to this, van den Branden held leadership roles, including head of engineering at ZeroNorth, XebiaLabs, SimpliVity, DynamicOps, and EMC Corporation. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), and an MBA from Boston University.
