Brian Stone joins NetAbstraction as CRO
NetAbstraction announced the appointment of Brian Stone as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Brian will oversee all business functions across sales, field operations, marketing, channel and customer success.
“Brian is a proven sales leader with a strong track record for building emerging technology vendors into successful brands,” said Gordon Lawson, CEO of NetAbstraction. “We’ve achieved significant early market adoption for our intelligence-grade cloud and network concealment technology, and Brian’s team building and management skills will help us reach the next level of growth.”
Brian joins NetAbstraction from Cymulate, where he served as CRO, and more than doubled the size of the team, achieving seven straight quarters of 100% Quarter-over-Quarter growth. As CRO at RiskLens, Brian helped the company land several F500 accounts and build a strong foundation for future growth. At Cofense he grew revenues from less than $6MM to more than $90MM until the company’s successful exit.
Prior to Cofense, Brian was an early-stage investor and go-to-market advisor at three technology and cybersecurity companies, resulting in one IPO and two successful exits. Brian holds a degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University.
“NetAbstraction has developed unique technology that protects the privacy and security of enterprises by anonymizing and concealing cloud resources including data, applications and communications from attackers,” said Brian Stone. “Our ability to isolate customers from ransomware and other targeted attacks is a powerful value proposition. I am looking forward to helping us scale up the company on a global basis.”
