Kdan Mobile raises $16M to increase its global footprint
Kdan Mobile Software announced that it has raised $16M in Series B funding from a who’s who of global investors, including Dattoz Partners (South Korea), WI Harper Group (U.S.), Taiwania Capital (Taiwan) and Golden Asia Fund Mitsubishi UFJ Capital (Japan). Lead Series B investor, Dattoz Partners, will take a seat on the Kdan Mobile Board to help guide the company as it expands its global footprint.
“We see tremendous growth in the market for software and solutions that empower the post-pandemic hybrid workforce. Kdan’s powerful product suite and the leadership team’s ability to execute have led to its strong momentum in several key markets, including the U.S. and Asia markets,” said Yeon Su Kim, Dattoz Partners’ CEO, commenting on the investment and her plans for joining the board as Kdan’s first Global Investment Officer. “We believe this performance is indicative of the company’s future direction and we are thrilled to be a part of that. Kdan Mobile demonstrates exactly what we seek from a meaningful long-term investment.”
Driving the future of enterprise-scale collaboration
The Series B funding will, in part, drive further development of Kdan’s enterprise offerings, including:
- Document AI is a powerful data processing and filtering technology that extracts and summarizes key information from large-scale sources of unstructured content, enabling organizations to make better business decisions in less time. Today, Kdan handles approximately 1.2 billion documents a year for customers, and that number is expected to increase dramatically over the next five years.
- Kdan’s cloud-based SaaS offerings, DottedSign, Document 365 and Creativity 365, enable growing and mid-sized enterprises to quickly and easily implement company-wide e-signature, PDF document, and multimedia content creation tools.
- For larger enterprises that want more control over their data and workflow, Kdan offers a set of APIs and SDKs for its e-signature service, document management solutions, and creativity platform, enabling large organizations to quickly and securely build out these capabilities in-house.
“We are focused on creating solutions for the hybrid workforce of the future with products that streamline workflow across multiple computing platforms. We enable people to produce creative content on a mobile device and pick it up on a PC or laptop,” said Kenny Su, CEO and Founder of Kdan Mobile Software Ltd. “We recognize that inspiration happens anywhere, and you need to be able to work from your mobile device–from the subway, a coffee shop or even from a camping site in the woods–then pick that up when you’re back in the office. This funding validates our strategy and underscores the importance of our work.”
