Christy Lynch joins deepwatch as CMO
deepwatch announced the appointment of Christy Lynch as chief marketing officer (CMO).
Lynch will report to deepwatch CEO Charlie Thomas, and be responsible for the structure, strategy and execution of all aspects of deepwatch’s marketing efforts to broaden market awareness and drive demand for the company’s cloud-based security operations platform.
“Christy brings significant industry experience and insight to deepwatch,” Thomas said. “Her success in positioning, branding and overall strategy at two different cyber unicorns will be invaluable to deepwatch as our growth accelerates.”
Lynch brings more than 25 years of technology marketing and brand building experience at both high-growth start ups and publicly-traded companies in the cybersecurity and enterprise technology industries.
Most recently, Lynch served as the vice president of communications and customer experience at Checkmarx where she led global communications, branding, demand generation campaigns and customer marketing.
Prior to Checkmarx, Lynch served as vice president of corporate marketing at CyberArk where she helped expand market opportunities and increase brand value and visibility contributing to the company’s rapid growth, successful IPO and market leadership.
“Cyberattacks are at the forefront of organizations’ radars and the pressure is on security leaders to strengthen their teams’ ability to detect and respond to threats, as well as to get more value from existing security investments,” Lynch said.
“deepwatch is the clear leader supporting this effort, providing the industry’s best solution for managed security operations. I look forward to amplifying awareness of how deepwatch measurably improves an organization’s security posture and working with our growing go-to-market ecosystem of notable resellers and technology alliance partners to serve and protect our customers.”
Lynch joins the deepwatch executive team following a banner year of growth in 2020 spanning across customer adoption, new product introductions, partner expansion and employee growth.
Lynch holds a bachelor of arts degree from Colby College and an MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin School of Business.
