James Devine joins Aviatrix as a Principal Solutions Architect
Aviatrix announced that James Devine, formerly from AWS, has joined the company as a Principal Solutions Architect. While at AWS, Devine co-authored the AWS Certified Advanced Networking Study Guide and played an active role in defining cloud reference architectures for some of largest AWS customers.
The company also recently added other cloud networking luminaries to its elite Solutions Architecture & Engineering team, including two former Microsoft Azure network specialists, with “Global Black Belt for Azure Networking,” classification; Manny Calero and Bryan Ashley (2 of only 10 people in the world that have this status), along with John Gonsalves, Citigroup’s former Global Head of Network Engineering.
Members of the Aviatrix Solutions Architecture and Engineering team share a common passion for cloud networking, security, and operational simplicity.
This team fully understands each customer’s vision and challenges associated with cloud transformation, and helps organizations design and solve complex cloud networking and security problems in a simple and innovative way, the right way, the cloud way.
“I’m very excited to join the Aviatrix team,” said James Devine, Principal Solutions Architect at Aviatrix. “In my previous role as a networking specialist at AWS, I’ve actually recommended Aviatrix to numerous customers where the AWS platform alone couldn’t provide the visibility, control and multi-cloud capabilities they were looking for.
“I love working with customers, helping them design their cloud network strategies, and by using Aviatrix, our customers will experience a much smoother and more pleasant experience as they transition to multi-cloud.”
These significant additions to the Aviatrix team further validate the company’s cloud network platform, its MCNA (Multi-cloud Network Architecture) approach, and the rapid innovation that Aviatrix is bringing to cloud networking.
As transformation to multi-cloud is quickly becoming essential for every organization, customers are demanding more advanced networking capabilities with a simple repeatable architecture that extends to multiple regions and multiple clouds.
The top talent that Aviatrix is attracting is driving the future of cloud networking by bringing simplicity, security, operational efficiency, and advance controls for our customers.
James, Manny, Bryan, and John, along with existing members of the Solutions Architecture & Engineering team, are playing a key role in defining product direction and helping with cloud architecture and design for some of the world’s largest brands.
They’re also developing multi-cloud network training as part of the company’s well-recognized and respected “ACE Program,” which recently surpassed 10k certified engineers in just under a year.
This program is the first multi-cloud networking and security certification available to cloud practitioners, DevOps, networking staff, and security professionals.
“We’re thrilled to have James join our team,” stated Nauman Mustafa, Vice President Solutions Engineering, at Aviatrix. “Our elite group of cloud networking experts has many years of expertise in designing and managing network infrastructures.
“And now they’ve all joined Aviatrix with one thing in common – to provide the best cloud networking solutions and experience to our customers.”
