Swimlane acquires Syncurity to spur growth and affirm commitment to SOAR market
Swimlane, an independent leader in security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), announced the acquisition of Syncurity, an organization focused on security incident response and case management. The acquisition is an exciting step in the company’s growth and a testament to the continued focus on security automation for operations teams.
Founded in 2014, a graduate of MACH37 Cyber Accelerator and SixThirty Ventures Go-To-Market program, and headquartered in Bethesda, Md., Syncurity’s security operations solution, IR Flow, provides incident response and end-to-end case management with SOAR capabilities to customers across various industries, including health care and managed services.
“Swimlane has a track record of success in the SOAR market, as well as a clearly demonstrated dedication to the cybersecurity industry as a whole,” said Syncurity Founder JP Bourget. “Syncurity is thrilled to join the Swimlane team, and we look forward to continuing to provide our customers with access to innovative solutions and deep domain expertise.”
“In a time of uncertainty, being able to ensure business continuity—especially from a cybersecurity perspective—is crucial,” Swimlane Co-Founder and CEO Cody Cornell.
“I’m excited to have the Syncurity team and customers join Swimlane and continue our work to make the lives of security operations teams better. Swimlane’s mission is to solve the problems facing security teams with a unified defense platform that enables individuals and teams to do more with less, and now we can deliver that value to an even larger customer base.”
In addition to the Swimlane platform’s flexibility, scalability and usability, Syncurity customers will benefit from full access to the Swimlane Immersive Customer Experience teams, as well as access to a larger body of shared information, use cases and deeper integrations and partner relationships.
