Taylor Lehman and Ira Winkler join Cymatic’s advisory board
Cymatic announced that it continues to build membership in its advisory board that provides brand counsel, technical guidance, and market leadership to ensure the success and relevance of the Cymatic next-generation all-in-one web application defense platform.
Cymatic offers the only unified web defense that deploys at the client through a simple line of JavaScript without agents or proxies to deliver first-look, first-strike capability that is earliest in the kill chain.
It provides universal in-session visibility and control to reduce risk across web applications, networks, and users while decreasing network traffic loads and eliminating user friction. New members of the advisory board include:
Taylor Lehman, vice president and chief information security officer at athenahealth. During Taylor’s 20-year career, he’s been responsible for protecting some of the most critical and sensitive healthcare data in use, including treatment data, digital medical devices, and medical record systems, to ensure information is delivered safely and securely.
Taylor’s work in healthcare includes efforts such as the Provider Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Council and leadership roles with HITRUST and H-ISAC, two global non-profit organizations providing threat intelligence to the industry.
He previously served as the co-founder of SideChannel Security and CISO for Wellforce, HealthEdge, and Independent Health in addition to experience in international banking and public consulting at PwC.
Ira Winkler, president, Secure Mentem. For more than 30 years, Ira has served as a security strategist for some of the most recognizable organizations in the world.
From government entities like the Department of Defence to information technology powerhouses like HP, Ira has helped build the strategies necessary to keep sensitive data safe from attack.
He currently serves as president of Secure Mentem, where he provides turnkey security awareness programs, support for more mature programs, and the metrics required for measurable improvements in the security behaviors of employees.
“Protecting against network-based threats like traditional WAFs just isn’t enough anymore—we know it and our advisors know it,” said Cymatic Founder and Chief Executive Jason Hollander.
“We’re assembling some of the best and brightest CISOs to help us ensure the protection we move from the network side to the client will truly deliver the best value in security today: defending against the most sophisticated client- and browser-based attacks while remaining invisible and frictionless to users, deploying in minutes, and offering immediate time-to-value.”
The Cymatic platform provides universal in-session visibility and control to reduce risk across web applications, networks, and users while decreasing network traffic loads and eliminating user friction. It protects against user-derived and device-based threats such as poor credential hygiene, dark web vulnerabilities, and potentially risky devices.
