Signal Sciences and Datadog provide real-time web app attacks monitoring and response
Signal Sciences, the fastest growing web application security company in the world, announced its integration with Datadog, the monitoring and analytics platform for modern cloud environments.
The integration provides engineering and operations teams with an easy way to monitor and respond to real-time web application attacks from the Datadog platform. By activating the new Signal Sciences dashboard, Datadog users can quickly see the volume and types of attacks against their applications, APIs, and microservices.
The integration allows users to embed application security into the DevOps tool chain they already use so they can easily see, analyze, and receive alerts on their web application activity.
These insights help engineers determine whether their app is under attack or simply experiencing errors from a bad code deployment. By correlating these types of events with the rich data already available in the Datadog platform, users will accelerate their time to resolution.
“We are thrilled to bring Signal Sciences web application security to our customers,” said Andrew Becherer, chief security officer at Datadog. “Correlating Signal Sciences’ security data with Datadog’s infrastructure and application data enables teams to gain new insight and control over security signals in all of their environments.”
“Our partnership with Datadog offers their users an unparalleled level of protection through visual security insights that are immediately actionable,” said Hala Al-Adwan, vice president of technology at Signal Sciences.
“With the way applications are delivered and maintained changing, application security is now everyone’s responsibility. Our solution shows engineering and operations teams exactly what’s coming at them, so they can tackle web threats head-on.”
