PCI Pal, the secure payments provider to contact centers, announced that Darren Gill has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and César Branco has relocated to the US and takes up the position as North American Senior Telephony Architect to continue its global momentum.
Expansion efforts are further reinforced by the extension of PCI Pal’s AWS cloud deployments beyond its core markets in the U.K. and U.S. with the addition of customers across Canada, Australia, New Zealand and mainland Europe.
As CRO, Gill will lead PCI Pal’s global sales and partner engagement strategies and will report to CEO, James Barham. Prior to becoming CRO, Gill was PCI Pal’s VP of Channel Sales in North America where he led the development of PCI Pal’s partner program in the region.
Gill came to the PCI Pal team from channel partner, Genesys, where he held the role of VP of Channel Sales and held director level roles in channel and sales at Verint Systems, Aspect Software and Interactive Intelligence.
“Expanding our global footprint is a huge priority for PCI Pal, and I feel confident that Darren and Cesar will continue to be instrumental in moving this forward in their new roles,” said James Barham, CEO, PCI Pal.
“Between Darren’s 20+ years of channel and sales experience, Cesar’s extensive background in IP telecommunications and contact center software, and new AWS instances in key regions, PCI Pal adds to its foundations enabling the provision of reliable and secure payment solutions to companies all around the world.”
As a senior telephony architect based in North America, Branco will have responsibilities which include providing front line architecture support to new customers and partners to ensure voice telephony integrations are successful and future-proof. He will report to CTO Hugh James.
Having been a key member of the team that has designed, developed, and delivered PCI Pal’s global AWS environment, Branco was chosen to lead the engineering charge in North America. Prior to PCI Pal, Branco was a cloud contact center product specialist at Collab, and before that, a voice and IP contact center solutions specialist at TATA Communications.
“It’s an exciting time to be at PCI Pal as we grow and receive recognition for our work in the industry, and I’m honored to contribute to the growth and success of the company,” said Branco.
Darren Gill added, “I’ve been in the industry for decades working with companies large and small to advance channel and sales strategies at a global level. I’m thrilled to be a part of PCI Pal as we continue to expand globally to meet growing demands for secure payment solutions that are certified to the highest level of security.”
