SecurEnvoy unveils Multi-Factor Authentication as a Service
In addition to enhanced authentication experiences for users, the new SecurIdentity Cloud MFA module offers real-time user deployment and control of the process through LDAP and Active Directory groups. Organisations experience further cost savings with self-service helpdesk and enrolment portals as well as zero infrastructure, support and maintenance overhead.
The new module also integrates and bridges on-premise active directory to cloud applications, provisioning single sign-on seamlessly.
Beginning with support for WS-Federation, the new MFA module enables organizations to securely authenticate users with all Microsoft Office 365 web and desktop applications with a wide selection of authentication methods, such as a custom authenticator or push notifications. This approach will allow organisations to utilise the SecurIdentity MFA module with services like Amazon Web Services, Dropbox, Salesforce, and even Google Apps.
Phil Underwood, CIO of SecurEnvoy commented: “This is an exciting new chapter for SecurEnvoy as we start to venture beyond authentication into a new focus on identity security. The SecurIdentity platform will not only allow us to continue to grow authentication options, but add integrated security layers around a user’s identity and application interaction.”
