NS8 strengthens risk-assessment solution by adding Digital Element’s NetAcuity datasets
Digital Element, the global geolocation data and services provider, announced that NS8, a fast-growing ecommerce SaaS company that combats online fraud, will incorporate a number of its NetAcuity datasets to enhance risk-assessment solutions for online businesses.
NS8’s technology uses behavioral analytics and real-time scoring to optimize and protect online stores against threats such as transaction fraud, advertising fraud and site reliability issues. The addition of multiple IP datasets from Digital Element into NS8’s proprietary EQ8 Scoring Engine will strengthen the real-time, accurate intelligence that it provides its clients.
“Digital Element is an unquestioned leader in global IP intelligence, and we are extremely pleased to be deploying its NetAcuity datasets into our risk scoring,” said NS8 Chief Technology Officer Sam Sesti. “Being able to leverage Digital Element’s vast proxy database, reverse-geocoding data feeds, and other datasets will be a tremendous asset for us in accurately identifying malicious activity. This technology integration is another big step forward in the enhancement of our solution.”
NS8 will incorporate the NetAcuity Pulse Plus geolocation solution. NetAcuity Pulse Plus is a first-of-its-kind ZIP+4 targeting solution that combines device-derived data with Digital Element’s proprietary reverse-geocoding data feeds. Additionally, NS8 will utilize the company’s extensive proxy database that is updated daily, as well as other different IP datasets outside of geolocation.
“Retailers’ demands for data are only increasing as various types of online fraud grow and continue to negatively impact the online shopping experience,” said Rob Friedman, co-founder and executive vice president, Digital Element. “Information is the new currency in the retail world. NS8 has recognized the power of combining our reliable and highly accurate datasets to build strong digital intelligence to help assess―and ultimately prevent―real fraud threats.”
Digital Element’s IP datasets will be incorporated into the next NS8 software release, tentatively scheduled for June 2019.
