RiskSense expands its board of advisors
RiskSense, pioneering risk-based vulnerability management and prioritization, announced that six world-class technology executives have joined its board of advisors. They will provide strategic guidance and industry relationships to help RiskSense manage its accelerating growth, product strategy, and expansion into new markets.

Catherine A. Allen is Chairman and CEO of The Santa Fe Group, a strategic consulting group focused on cybersecurity, third party risk management and emerging technologies. She was formerly a senior executive at Dun and Bradstreet and Citicorp, and Founding Chair of the Smart Card Forum and Founding CEO of BITS, the technology organization made up of the 100 largest financial institutions in the U.S. Catherine is a board member of El Paso Electric Company and Synovus Financial and chairs the Security Committee.
She was named one of the 2018 NACD Directors 100, and one of the 100 most influential directors in the United States. Most recently Catherine was recognized by SC Media and INFOSEC for her contributions to the advancement of cybersecurity.
Chris W. Kenworthy has been a principal and advisor to numerous cybersecurity startups including Picus Security, Emergynt, Sift Security (acquired by Netskope), Marble (acquired by Proofpoint), McAfee (acquired by Intel), RSA (acquired by EMC), and Buguroo.
He is owner and principal of CyberGTM, a consulting services firm for security technology startups, and President and COO of Task Force 7, Inc., producer of a popular broadcast featuring insights and analysis from leading cybersecurity experts.
During his 25-year career, Chris served as SVP Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Marble Security, Inc., SVP Enterprise for McAfee, VP Managed Services for RSA Security, and VP Worldwide Sales for Aventail (acquired by SonicWALL).
Bill Odell is a veteran enterprise technology marketer with over 25 years experience growing early and growth stage startups and managing large, global organizations in IT security, SaaS, analytics and CRM. He is currently Chief Marketing Officer at Aerospike, a data architecture company for the financial services, telecommunications, e-commerce, adtech and gaming industries.
Bill has held senior executive roles at Cisco, Dell Software and SonicWALL, and at category-creating growth stage companies including Interlace Systems (acquired by Oracle) and Latitude Communications (acquired by Cisco).
Neal Ramasamy is Chief Technology Officer at New York Life Insurance Company where he provides technology and innovation leadership to the company’s Insurance and Agency group, Enterprise Infrastructure Services, Information Security, Data Center Operations, and Consumer Services groups. Neal joined New York Life in 2009 as CIO for the Retirement Services division.
Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Technology for Fidelity Investments’ global brokerage division, where he led several successful transformations and large multi-year, cross-company technology initiatives. He has also served as Senior Vice President and CIO for Fiserv, Inc. and CIO for Instinet Corporation, a Nomura Company.
Jon Shende is a Global Head of a Fortune 200’s Digital Technology and Services Security division, an advisory board member at Advaion a boutique financial consulting firm, a member of InfraGard, a board member of the EC-Council Threat and Intelligence Analyst program and more recently was Global Head of Security and Services for Ericsson.
He previously served as Managing Director, for Healthcare, Financial and PRCMT for Savvis Cloud Services and Area Vice President, Security Risk and Compliance for the CenturyLink Business division.
At Ernst & Young, Jon advised Global Fortune 500/100/50 clients on IT Security, Strategy, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Data Privacy drawing from his strengths in global technology services as a security leader with CISO experience.
Toby Tobaccowala has more than 40 years of experience in senior executive and CEO positions and serves on a number of boards of directors, including RedShift Networks, Strikedeck, Oceus Networks, and Infinote. He was co-founder and chairman of R4 Global Solutions, Inc., acquired by VeriSign Inc.
Previously, he was Executive Vice President at AppNet where he completed 12 acquisitions in nine months, enabling the company to offer a full range of services and complete a public offering.
During his 23-year career with Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS), he ran several business units, including the Media Industry Group, which he grew from startup to over $250 million in annual revenue.
