HITB partners with BSides Dubai for free CommSec Track at HITB2018DXB
The HITB CommSec (community + security) track is a free-to-attend session with 30 and 60 minutes talks held during the 27th and 28th alongside the HITB2018DXB’s Exhibition.
This year they’ve partnered with BSides Dubai to focus 50% of the HITB CommSec track topics on issues that are becoming more and more relevant every day – the security of cars, airplanes, medical devices, critical infrastructure and home automation devices.
The goal of BSides Dubai is to mash up the security community with the best open thinkers from around the world in the famous SecurityBSides open, interactive and community oriented format.
“BSides Dubai and HITB both have the same intention of serving the UAE infosec community, so we joined hands together to make this conference as the biggest event in the Gulf. BSides Dubai was impressed by the concept of HITB CommSec Track which is FREE for ALL and likewise we collaborated with HITB,” Maria James, co-organizer of BSides Dubai, told Help Net Security.
