Cloud Daddy launches data protection update for Secure Backup solution on AWS Marketplace
With the latest version of Cloud Daddy Secure Backup 1.2, customers can see where their backups and replications are stored. Cloud Daddy’s Disaster Recovery Orchestration Dashboard provides the ability to visualize the backup and replications contained within AWS regions, anywhere in the world they may exist, simplifying disaster recovery.
The ability to filter and drill down to locate a target to restore provides the flexibility to recover a workload to the same AWS account/region, or to a different account/region within AWS, anywhere in the world, providing layers of disaster recovery and data protection.
With five levels of product offerings, from free to enterprise-class, Cloud Daddy offers a range of both backup/disaster recovery and security features for enterprises of all sizes, including MSPs and channel partners.
Cloud Daddy’s feature set includes backup and disaster recovery features such as application-consistent backups, flexible backup schedules and on-demand backup jobs, cross-region and cross-account backup and restore, multi-tenancy and access, while including security features such as AWS web application firewall integration, security group management, instance firewall and rules, for a value in comparison to mainstream backup products available on the market.
Cloud Daddy is committed to providing the data protection for AWS while continuing to advance the backup, security and management as a core strategy in enhancing the solution by implementing features that strengthen this foundation into the future.
Upcoming iterations of the Cloud Daddy solution will unlock capabilities for IT operations and management, all at a small fraction of the cost of standing up and configuring your own hardware.
The Cloud Daddy Secure Backup solution with a US patent pending on the machine learning and artificial intelligence will drive the security system coming in Release 2.0.
“The latest version 1.2 of Cloud Daddy Secure Backup extends Cloud Daddy superiority in providing modern and intuitive data protection on AWS,” said Cloud Daddy Founder and CEO Joe Merces.
“Today’s world is wrought with all sorts of cybersecurity threats that could even encrypt your backup. Why settle for just backup? Do you really want to take that risk? Yesterday’s era of backup tools are no longer an effective fit in such a cybersecurity threatened cloud world. If you’re paying for a product that only does backup, Cloud Daddy provides much more value, with the only product on AWS that not only does backup but provides you with true modern-data protection for today’s elastic cloud world.”
Cloud Daddy’s Secure Backup joins backup and disaster recovery, security, and infrastructure management into one offering for AWS users.
