ZeroFOX announces TIP integrations providing social media security coverage
ZeroFOX unveiled three new integrations with Anomali, ThreatConnect and ThreatQuotient, enabling customers to better prevent, detect, respond to and recover from social media-based threats. By integrating ZeroFOX with TIPs and SIEMs, ZeroFOX bridges the gap for customers between social media and the larger threat landscape.
For all employees and organizations, social media has become one of the top cybersecurity concerns, requiring a modern approach to threat detection and prevention.
However, social networks often remain siloed from organizations’ larger cybersecurity initiatives. ZeroFOX now offers these companies social media threat data, which they can integrate into their existing TIP in order to help achieve a defense-in-depth security posture.
Additionally, the integrations with Anomali, ThreatConnect and ThreatQuotient will allow customers to have a holistic view of their entire threat landscape, with ZeroFOX specializing in the social media threat indicator space.
Capabilities include:
- Enhanced visibility and context for attacks stemming across social media;
- Immediate ability to integrate ZeroFOX threat data into organizations’ existing infrastructure;
- Access to insights from ZeroFOX’s advanced threat research team.
“ZeroFOX continues to lead the industry in protecting both individuals and organizations from threats introduced by social media and digital platforms,” said James C. Foster, CEO and co-founder, ZeroFOX.
“Prior to these partner integrations, organizations were struggling with taking action on their social media indicators. Modern targeted attacks require more context than lists of IPs and file hashes and we were proud to partner with the TIP platform thought leaders to bring this capability to market. Organizations are now empowered to bridge the gap between social media and their broader security mission into the fastest-emerging repository of cyber risks: social media and external digital channels.”
“ZeroFOX has developed a landmark solution for organizations that want to create a more secure social media environment,” said Colby DeRodeff, chief strategy officer, Anomali.
“Social media presents a unique, dynamic landscape riddled with cybersecurity challenges, and ZeroFOX is feeding them the data required to overcome these speed bumps.”
“As the threat environment rapidly evolves, companies are increasingly realizing the need to proactively protect themselves from social media-based attacks,” said Adam Vincent, CEO, ThreatConnect.
“Our partnership with ZeroFOX provides users with comprehensive and reliable social media-based indicators they can use to investigate potential threats and stay ahead of attacks on their networks.”
“Our customers expect intelligence-driven security across all channels – including social media,” said Haig Colter, director of alliances, ThreatQuotient.
“We’re excited to partner with ZeroFOX as we work together to help our customers create a more secure enterprise.”
