ESET launches secure authentication SDK
ESET launched the ESET Secure Authentication Software Development Kit (SDK). With this release, ESET provides system architects with a comprehensive developer guide in three mainstream programming languages to add two-factor authentication (2FA) protection to nearly any system that requires protection.
“We have observed through conversations with customers and peers at industry conferences that interest and demand for 2FA protection is strong and growing rapidly,” said Andrew Lee, CEO of ESET North America. “By introducing SDK to the market, there are now unlimited opportunities for enterprises to use our ESET Secure Authentication technology, which provides ultra-secure access to mission critical applications.”
With a wide range of extensibility options, not only does the ESET Secure Authentication SDK provide user management, but it can be integrated into custom applications, such as corporate intranets or remote access systems.
This integration means there are minimal external dependencies, full data control and zero need for a cloud data store—providing both SMBs and enterprises with all aspects of 2FA capabilities, including auditing, custom SMS gateway usage, logging and user authentication.
Recently, ESET also announced its newest version of ESET Secure Authentication—an updated, 2FA application that provides the potent combination of secure access to online applications, while offering even greater ease of installation and support, for a superior overall user experience.
The ESET Secure Authentication SDK is available in .NET, PHP and Java. Each language is equipped with a client side library (source code), developer and deployment guides and example usage code.
