QualysGuard Express Lite released
Qualys announced QualysGuard Express Lite, a small business version of the company’s suite of integrated security and compliance solutions.
The new cloud offering delivers the full power of the QualysGuard Cloud Platform to SMBs so they can better protect themselves against Internet attackers and simplify compliance with PCI and regulatory mandates. QualysGuard Express Lite is accessible directly from any web browser without buying servers or installing software.
QualysGuard Express Lite is an all-in-one cloud solution with the following capabilities:
Discovery of network vulnerabilities and the patches to fix them. Monitors servers and computers for security problems, which helps organizations prioritize these issues for remediation by generating easy-to-understand reports, including the latest patches to fix them.
Web application scanning. Identifies security vulnerabilities in websites, forms and applications that attackers abuse to take control of servers and steal data.
Website malware detection. Alerts for malicious code lurking in businesses’ websites that could infect visitors and damage the organization’s reputation.
PCI compliance automation. Scans servers and computers for vulnerabilities, administers Payment Card Industry (PCI) self-assessment questionnaires, and auto-submits the results to acquiring banks online. Qualys is an Approved Scanning Vendor.
“Our mid-sized customers have been using QualysGuard Express due to its ease of use and actionable security results that help organizations fend off cyber attacks and avoid data breaches,” said Philippe Courtot, chairman and CEO of Qualys. “The new Express Lite offering will be ideal for small business customers who have limited IT resources and need a comprehensive security and compliance monitoring solution that is simple to use and fits within their budget.”
QualysGuard Express Lite is a cloud security and compliance solution sold as annual subscriptions based on number of systems and web applications. Annual subscriptions, starting at $795 for two Internet servers, will be available in July.
