New cloud disaster recovery service
EVault announced a four-hour option for its Cloud Disaster Recovery Service (EVault CDR) with a guaranteed SLA.
The EVault CDR four-hour managed service includes an SLA-backed guarantee for recovery in four hours or less and is particularly beneficial for businesses in heavily regulated industries, such as health care, financial and legal services, that cannot tolerate extended outages of critical systems.
All EVault CDR customers with 4-, 24- or 48-hour service levels work closely with a team of EVault DR experts to guide them through the entire process — from implementation, DR planning and testing to the execution of system and data recovery.
Key features of EVault CDR include:
- Managed, rapid recovery of critical systems and data in the cloud within 4, 24 or 48 hours, depending on service level, after a disaster, and guaranteed by an SLA.
- An experienced team of EVault disaster recovery specialists that extend IT resources, helping customers implement, plan, test and execute the entire disaster recovery process 24/7/365.
- Remote access to applications in a secure, top tier, SSAE 16-compliant data center (“warm” site for 24- or 48-hour SLA; “hot site” for 4-hour SLA) that extends the customer’s production environment into the EVault Cloud.
- Proactive failover support provides a zero-downtime alternative for planned maintenance, site outages and upgrades.
“We believe this offering takes disaster recovery to the next level — the midmarket has never before been able to afford a hot site recovery though their business is no less mission-critical than enterprises with larger IT budgets,” said Terry Cunningham, president and general manager of EVault. “We helped create the RaaS industry with our Cloud DR offerings and we are now extending our leadership with a four-hour recovery time service option, which allows us to continue to meet the evolving needs of the midmarket and our 35,000-strong customer base.”
