Mobile security experts converge on Munich for Amphion Forum
The Amphion Forum, launched in the United States last year by the same entrepreneur that founded the global RSA Conferences, has established itself as the hottest event for security professionals riding the tsunami trends of “Internet of Things”, BYOD and consumerization of IT.
Registration opened today for the Amphion Forum, a gathering of mobile security and embedded security experts. The event is scheduled for March 28th in Munich, Germany. Help Net Security readers can get a 100 EUR discount by using priority code SPD5282 when registering.
The event will present new research and talks on the security of devices in smart grid, medical, smartphone, tablet, industrial and military contexts, among others.
The 2011 Amphion Forum events in the United States and China drew almost 1,000 of the brightest mobile security minds from business, academia, government and defence, all focused on a common problem: building a safer Internet of Things.
Participating organizations for the Munich event include Cassidian/EADS, E.ON Energie AG, RWE, Symantec, McAfee, Wind River, Freescale, Accenture, Codenomicon and Mocana. Kjetil Nilsen, Director General of the Norway National Security Authority, will keynote the event.
