Risk Control 6.0 released

Skybox Security announced Risk Control 6.0, featuring enhancements that help understand cyber security situations and act quickly to minimize risks that can lead to cyber-attacks and data breaches.

These enhancements include: new dashboard views that show risk exposures, multi-step attack scenarios, risk metrics by network region, and granular control of access to sensitive risk information.

Skybox Risk Control combines information about software vulnerabilities, network infrastructure, information assets, and threats into a consolidated view of cyber security risks and also automates the steps needed to prioritize vulnerabilities according to risk level to important information assets.

It then provides immediate visibility into which patches have the greatest effect on reducing risk level and which cyber-threats pose the most danger to a specific network.

Featuring new dashboard views and reports, Risk Control 6.0 offers security managers an easy way to digest network security information. The robust feature-set enables companies to do frequent risk assessments across large network infrastructures, automate vulnerability management tasks, quantify risk level, and reduce the time needed to address important risk exposures from months to hours.

Based on network modeling and attack simulation technology, Risk Control also allows companies to perform virtual penetration testing to spot any security weaknesses and take preventative action.
