Kaspersky One: Universal security for multi-device protection
Kaspersky Lab announced Kaspersky One, a “Universal Security” solution that ensures protection across a wide selection of platforms and devices.
Using a single license, you can protect multiple computing devices – desktops, laptops, smartphones and Android-based tablets.
Owning multiple web-connected and portable devices has become commonplace. These days, everyone seems to carry a laptop or tablet in one hand, a smartphone in the other and have a desktop at home. But security for all of these devices is often an afterthought, creating weak links in your personal digital security. Even though these devices use different software and are used for different purposes, they all have quite a lot in common:
- They all offer powerful computing and communications capabilities
- They are all Internet-enabled through either wireless connections or cellular networks
- They store large amounts of personal information.
With Kaspersky ONE, users can receive the appropriate protection from a trusted leader in personal security without having to purchase multiple products.
With just one license, Kaspersky One Universal Security allows you to conveniently secure any combination of your PCs, Macs, Android tablets and smartphones.
The product will be available in combinations for three, five and ten devices. It can be used to protect desktop and laptop personal computers running Windows or Mac OS X, Android, Symbian, Windows Mobile or BlackBerry smartphones, and Android-based tablets.
One-year licenses of Kaspersky ONE can be purchased for $79.95 for three devices, $99.95 for five devices, and $149.95 for ten devices.
Kaspersky One will be available on October 17 in the United States, United Kingdom and Ireland. The product will be available globally in early 2012.
