SecureMac released MacScan 2.8, the latest version of its anti-spyware, privacy and security software for Mac OS X.
Detect, isolate, and remove spyware as well as clean up Internet clutter. With MacScan’s Blacklisted Cookie Scan you can remove blacklisted tracking cookies without losing all your saved usernames and passwords.
This new version enhances protection against the latest threats for Mac OS X, adding usability enhancements and bug fixes.
MacScan 2.8 has been updated to offer compatibility with Firefox 4 for removal of blacklisted tracking cookies as well as web files such as browsing and download history to ensure better internet privacy and security.
MacScan retails for $29.99, while upgrades from previous versions of MacScan 2 are free.
