Apple improves App Store security
Following the recent hacking of its App Store, Apple instituted a new security measure that should prevent hijackers of accounts from purchasing anything from the store.
The Different District blog reports that the change is simple enough: every time you make a purchase from an iPhone or a device that is not already associated with your account, you will be asked to provide again your credit card information along with your password:
This is, indeed, a very simple solution that requires little effort from the users, and I wonder at Apple for not implementing it before this incident.
