SecureAuth 5.0.6 strong authentication for Cisco VPN and cloud applications
MultiFactor Corporation announced the release of SecureAuth 5.0.6. The new release of SecureAuth’s proven two-factor authentication solution for Cisco IPSec and SSL VPNs now incorporates a secure Single Sign On experience for cloud based applications as well.
With this release, an enterprise has the ability to use the same authentication system and a single, existing user data store to control and manage both network and application access separately or simultaneously. While many application resources may now live in the cloud, the enterprise’s network administrator remains in full control of identities and access to those applications in addition to the corporate network. New features include a full suite of identity management tools to increase efficiency and security.
Mark Lambiase, MultiFactor’s director of Network Products commented:
We have an installed base of satisfied Cisco VPN customers who appreciates our product for its low cost, simplicity, flexibility and ultimate security. With SecureAuth web-SSO, authentication to the Cisco SSL VPN can now be seamlessly, transparently and securely extended to other services.
