Network security management solution for virtual environments from Q1 Labs

Q1 Labs unveiled VFlow Collector for QRadar, a new network and application layer activity monitor designed specifically for use by IT professionals to help them oversee and secure their burgeoning virtual environments.

Successfully monitoring a virtual environment requires the ability to combine logs from virtual hosts with networked application activity, along with the behavior and communication patterns between virtual hosts.

With VFlow Collector for QRadar, administrators have increased visibility into the vast amount of business applications activity appearing across their virtual networks. It helps organizations better identify these applications for security monitoring, application-layer behavior analysis, and anomaly detection.

As a software version of Q1 Labs’ appliance-based QFlow Collector solution that is available for deployment in physical environments, VFlow Collector for QRadar runs in a virtual machine and can monitor up to 10,000 flows per minute.
